Skills Center Toniataba
For many children in The Gambia, secondary education after primary school is not feasible because of the costs involved or because there is no secondary education nearby. The inhabitants of Toniataba would like to see a Skills Center (kind of craft school) developed in their village. The board of the Karamba Foundation fully embraces this
Uitbreiding school nadert voltooiing
Nog wat schilderwerk en inrichting en dan is de uitbreiding van de Toniataba Basic Lower School een feit. Tijdens ons bezoek aan Gambia in januari 2020 hopen we deze nieuwbouw feestelijk te mogen openen.
Skills Center Toniataba
Voor veel kinderen in Gambia is vervolgonderwijs na de basisschool niet haalbaar vanwege de hieraan verbonden kosten of omdat er geen vervolgonderwijs in de buurt is. De inwoners van Toniataba zouden graag zien dat er in hun dorp een Skills Center (soort van ambachtsschool) wordt ontwikkeld. Het bestuur van de Stichting Karamba omarmt dit verzoek
School Toniataba nearly ready
Some more painting and furnishing and then the expansion of the Toniataba Basic Lower School is a fact. During our visit to The Gambia in January 2020 we hope to open this new building in a festive way.
